Coke delivery quality standard of Dalian Commodity Exchange

1 Subject Content and Scope of Application

1.1 This standard specifies the coke quality requirements, test methods, inspection rules and transportation requirements for delivery in Dalian Commodity Exchange.

1.2 The coke specified in this standard refers to the metallurgical coke used for blast furnace ironmaking, which is obtained from coking coal as the main raw material by high-temperature carbonization and other methods.

1.3 This standard is applicable to delivery standards and substitutes of coke futures contracts of Dalian Commodity Exchange.

For dated references, all subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions are not applicable to this standard. For undated references, the latest version is applicable to this standard.

4.2 Quality difference and premium of substitutes

4.3 Moisture Mt is required to be ≤ 5.0%. If the moisture content is greater than 5.0%, the excess part shall be rounded to one decimal place for weight deduction (for example, the measured moisture is 6.32%, and the weight deduction is 1.3%).

4.4 When delivering out of the warehouse, if the coke content or particle size does not meet the delivery standard of standard product quality requirements, the part that exceeds the coke content standard or is less than the particle size standard shall be rounded to one decimal place, The designated delivery warehouse shall calculate the compensation amount according to the settlement price of the coke contract in the latest month on the trading day before the completion of the delivery (for example, the delivery standard of coke content is not more than 7%, the measured value is 8.23%, rounded to one decimal place, and the compensation amount is 1.2% of the corresponding goods payment).

5 Test methods and inspection rules

5.1 The sample shall be taken and prepared in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1997.

5.2 The coke content and particle size shall be determined according to the provisions of GB/T 2005.

5.3 The moisture, ash and volatile matter shall be determined according to the provisions of GB/T 2001.

5.4 The total sulfur content shall be determined according to the provisions of GB/T 2286.

5.5 The crushing strength M40 and abrasion resistance M10 shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1996.

5.6 The determination of reactivity and post reaction strength shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 4000.

5.7 Rounding off of values shall be in accordance with GB/T 8170.

6 Transportation requirements

Coke shall be transported in clean train carriages, car carriages, ship cabins or other means of transport.
