The SSE issued the Notice on Matters Related to the Exercise of Corporate Warrants

Xinbao News (by Jiao Jing): The exercise of Changdian warrants will begin on May 18, and other corporate warrants will enter the exercise period in succession. The SSE said yesterday that in order to ensure the smooth exercise of the warrants, it specially issued a notice on exercise matters, which stipulates that the exercise of the warrants will be subject to T+0 settlement.

The Notice indicates that according to relevant regulations, the warrant exercise is subject to T+0 settlement. Therefore, participants who have not handled the related settlement between the secured settlement account and the non secured settlement account should transfer the full amount of payable funds to their non secured settlement account opened in Shanghai Branch of China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited before 16:00 on the day of exercise declaration to avoid the failure of exercise due to insufficient funds; Participants who have handled related party settlement shall pay attention to the impact of related party settlement on the funds in the secured settlement account, reserve sufficient funds in the secured settlement account, and avoid the failure of related party settlement leading to the failure of exercise.

According to the Notice, the amount receivable by investors after successful exercise

negotiable securities , the newly issued securities will be directly recorded into the securities account of the investor as the issuer, and the newly issued securities will be listed and circulated on the next trading day.

Finally, SSE said that securities companies should continue to strengthen investor education, further publicize warrant investment knowledge and exercise conditions and requirements to investors through various channels, and fully reveal the risks of warrant trading and exercise.
