Today, the "Water Splashing Festival" is not only the most grand festival of the Dai people, but also the most influential and attended festival among Yunnan ethnic minorities. During the whole festival period, there are not only traditional recreational activities such as dragon boat racing, raising and raising, setting off Kongming lanterns, splashing water and losing bags, but also new activities such as cockfighting, ballooning and garden party.

Data shows that on the first day of the "Water Splashing Festival", Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, is expected to receive 434700 tourists, up 23.77% year on year, and the total tourism revenue is expected to exceed 530 million yuan, up 45% year on year.

From Chaoshan Yingge and Dance to the world during the Spring Festival, and then to Yunnan "Water Splashing Festival", popular online, folk tourism has gradually become popular with tourists. This not only drives the full vitality of the consumer market, but also brings new opportunities for the in-depth integration and development of folk activities and local cultural tourism.

At the "Guangxi March 3 · Bagui Carnival", five intangible cultural heritage villages, namely "Happy Guangxi", "Delicious Guangxi", "Splendid Guangxi", "Beautiful China" and "Colorful ASEAN", focused on Guangxi music, food, brocade and other intangible cultural heritage projects, with unique Guangxi characteristics and Chinese charm; At the opening ceremony of the main venue of Hainan's "March 3rd" festival, creative programs such as the Li nationality featured musical instrument show, song duet and other creative arrangements, which are integrated singing and dancing performances and the transformation of laborious equipment, were staged in turn; In Jiande City, Zhejiang Province, more than ten traditional intangible cultural heritage programs, such as "Licun Pavilion Raising", "New Ye Kunqu Opera", "Longyou Hard headed Lion", and "She Bamboo Dance" from Jiande, Lanxi, and Longyou, were unveiled in New Ye Ancient Village

With the deepening of cultural and tourism integration, national culture is spreading at an unprecedented speed. Relevant festivals not only show the unique customs of ethnic minorities, but also provide opportunities for tourists to participate and experience, injecting new vitality into the local cultural and tourism integration.

Taking Guangxi as an example, according to the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Autonomous Region, the total number of tourists received and the total revenue of tourism in the region during the "March 3" holiday (April 11-14) have achieved "double growth", and the number of tourists in Nanning, Guilin and Liuzhou ranks top three in the region. Business monitoring data shows that the sales of 68 key commercial and trade enterprises in Guangxi increased by 17.3% year on year.

Nowadays, folk tourism has become a new trend of cultural tourism. Tourists not only feel the joy of national festivals and appreciate the color of intangible cultural heritage, but also "add fire" to the local cultural tourism consumption market.
