The post-80s boys fail to make money after graduation for two years, and fail to take the civil service exam for the seventh time

He can do push ups on the cinder floor with his fists, and his hands bleed first, then cocoon. Even with such hard hands, civil servants [Weibo] In the exam, he failed to knock on any door.

In the last few minutes before the beginning of the seventh exam, the tall and thin boy stared at the review materials held in his hands, hoping that the last few knowledge points could become the score points on the paper, so that "Xiao Li, who had taken the public exam for seven times" could become "Xiao Li, a special police officer of Huainan Public Security Bureau, Anhui Province".

His name is Li Shuo. He graduated from Anhui Vocational Police College in 2013. The boy who is the counterpart of this school and is not lazy doesn't know why it is so difficult to be a policeman. He began to memorize the knowledge of public security in his sophomore year, and almost finished a book. It was his turn to change it into an argument when he took the exam; He can do 30 pull ups a minute, and the physical fitness test canceled this item when it was his turn.

In order to take the civil service exam, he changed his job frequently two years after graduation. The civil servant exam in Anhui Province in April was the focus of Li Shuo's "attack", which was also his seventh exam.

For three consecutive years in 2013, 2014 and 2015, he resigned two months in advance to prepare for the exam. He had applied for the exam in the tax bureau, the road administration team and other departments, but his real ideal was to test the police. Over the years, he can't remember clearly the department and ranking of applicants, but only the provincial examination in April 2014 has been admitted to the interview.

Time and time again, I answered the latest political questions on the volume, and my life still stayed in place.

When he got together with two or three friends who graduated from the same school and also took part in the public examination, he drank two cups of wine. He put the cup heavily on the table and shouted: "Some people said that the police uniform is a piece of leather, but I just want to wear this leather!"

He knew that he still had 12 years of qualification, but he did not know when he would take the exam. He told himself that this was "my ideal". Then he got up at 5:30 in the morning and went to the food market to watch the Yuanzi shop for his father.

Well prepared to be a policeman, as long as you pass the exam

If the exam just finished is still not ideal, selling Yuanzi may be Li Shuo's next job.

Not long ago, the boy who "can't eat after reading" walked into the examination room for civil servants in Anhui Province for the third time. If everything goes well, he may become a special police officer of Huainan Public Security Bureau.

His parents sent him from Hefei to Huainan Examination Center one day in advance. In the morning, they called him to get up, and his girlfriend sent a message to cheer him up. In the next exam, he was tangled with a given material and asked to take "return to zero" as the main line of the essay.

At the same examination site with him was Dong Hang, a friend from the same school. He was admitted to Hefei Urban Management last year. Since he was not officially prepared, the "legend" who once won the annual championship of the sports program "Boys and Girls Rush Forward" of Anhui TV took the examination again.

Also taking part in this exam is my friend Xie Tengfei. They used to belong to a student association called "Police Sports Team", where the brothers and sisters of the same school passed on their martial arts from generation to generation.

Once, the students ran around the 400m playground for 50 laps. At the end of the race, Li Shuo was carried back to his dormitory for two days. "I can't hold on until you are running!" Li Shuo said to the two brothers.

Since 2013, they have also traveled around the track of civil service examination. Although Li Shuo's parents had hoped that he would get a master's degree. Li Shuo originally followed his father's surname, Tao Zhongzhuang, but his primary school performance was poor. His father, Tao Zhongzhuang, gritted his teeth and asked him to change his mother's surname to Li. He wanted to borrow the inspiration of two college students' uncles to study. However, compared with a master's degree, it is obviously more practical for Li Shuo, who has studied in a police school, to be a policeman.

In April 2013, Li Shuo applied for the special police of Shitai County, Anhui Province. He began to prepare for the first civil service exam when he was a sophomore. A thick professional knowledge of public security, I read a few pages every morning after running exercises. After two years, the boy who mocked himself "not for reading" almost recited the main points of a book.

Unexpectedly, since 2013, the examination subject has changed from public security professional knowledge to argumentation. Li Shuo returned to the starting line after a big circle ahead of time, and failed to pass the written test with an average score of 62 points. He regarded it as a training on the way to realize his dream, and took the Anhui Provincial Public Institution Examination and the National Civil Servant Examination in May and November 2013, respectively, to prepare for the next year's police examination.

His name was never written on the red paper and pasted on the campus. In this college, this is a special treatment for those who have passed the civil service examination and entered the police force, which is equivalent to a gold medal.

"We didn't go to college, but we felt sorry for our family and embarrassed to use our money," Li Shuo said frankly.

This group of students who are inferiority complex because of their "low educational background" do all kinds of jobs, such as security guard, lunch box, credit card, and "coolie"

"When confronted with danger, we dare to rush to the front. The police should be bloody, shouldn't they?" Li Shuo asked, holding a glass of wine.

The young man, who is "not afraid of hardship or fatigue", believes that he has made all the preparations to become a policeman, as long as he passes the exam in a hot and hot way.

If you can't even become a policeman, what's the future of your life

But before his dream can be realized, Li Shuo must help his father's dream.

These days, waiting for the results of the seventh civil service examination, Li Shuo and his son will go out at 5:30 every morning, drive to the newly built Hefei Chinese Food Market, open the rolling shutter door of the "Zhuangshuo Food Store", and Li Shuo's father frowns behind the freezer, pressing numbers on his mobile phone while waiting for business.

For two days in a row, one bag full of two freezers was not sold. Li Shuo's father said it was OK, and business should be done slowly. The 50 year old man regards this place as his ideal. The family expenses basically depend on Li Shuo's mother's clothing business, and life is not easy.

"Sometimes I feel sad when I see them so tired. When I think of my two years of graduation without making money, I sometimes have to ask them for money. As a man, I also fail," said Li Shuo.

After failing the sixth exam last year, he stubbornly decided to take another one.

"He passed the exam and I have a bright face!" Li Shuo's mother said. This woman with a primary school degree who came out early to teach tailoring would not let her only son suffer from business again. Her wish almost came true.

In the civil service examination of Anhui Province in April 2014, Li Shuo, who entered the examination room for the fourth time, applied for the post of police in the Huoshan County Public Security Bureau in the hinterland of the Dabie Mountains, and passed the written examination for the first time in history.

At the time of receiving the interview notice, Li Shuo, who had recently worked in a car 4S store, had just sold his first car. He decided to quit his lucrative job and concentrate on attending the interview coaching class. However, Li Shuo, who was the last one to be interviewed, lost for the fourth time due to his poor condition.

He had to keep looking for work. He has worked as a security guard, sold insurance, done financial consulting, distributed leaflets, and served as customer service for seven days.

"One day when I answered the phone, my mobile phone rang and I didn't want to answer it!" Xie Tengfei did customer service for some time. In addition to the simple and rude chicken soup brainwashing of the sales company, he also suffered from being scolded by the phone owner once the phone was connected.

Li Songsong, who successfully entered a police station in Huainan as a special police officer in this exam, began a new life. He worked as a security guard with Li Shuo in the months before joining the company.

Li Songsong's life has changed greatly since then. The aunts rushed to introduce their girlfriend to the new civil servant, "no one ever introduced her before".

Li Songsong has a monthly salary of 3100 yuan, and his working style of patrolling most of the time is also attractive to Li Shuo. In the seventh exam, he applied for the same position as Li Songsong.

Li Shuo hopes to pass the exam successfully this year and give his girlfriend an explanation. His girlfriend, Wang Jie, was his classmate at the police school. She gave up after two failed civil service exams and specialized in telephone customer service. She could not leave work until after 10 o'clock every night.

Li Shuo still wants to do many things, such as joining the Party. In his eyes, "Party members are also symbols of identity"; In addition, he also wants to take the postgraduate exam after being admitted to the civil service [Weibo] I really want to get a master's degree.

All of this is based on the "passing the exam". His somewhat powerful father said to him without hesitation: "Without a stable job, what about marriage?"

After failing in the fourth exam, Li Shuo successively applied for the local tax bureau in the national civil servant exam and Hefei Civilization Office in the public institution exam, but his ranking was not high enough to be shortlisted. Although he is very clear that the provincial examination in April every year, the position of local police is his real goal, and six failures put heavy psychological pressure on him: "It's a shame that he didn't pass the examination for so many years."

Standing outside the Yuanzi shop with the fishy smell around, Li Shuo sighed: "I just want to prove that if I can't even become a policeman, what's the future of my life?"

Every time I said I would not take the exam, and I would find a job to live safely, but I would take the exam next time

"Li Shuo's seven exams are really not many," Xie Tengfei told reporters. He knew a girl who had been taking the exam for three consecutive years many years ago. He had been taking the exam for more than ten times in the civil service exam rooms all over the country. When there was no exam, he sent lunch to the city library. Xie Tengfei smiled helplessly: "If you are a few tens of points short, it will be all right. I will hang you like chasing a girl, and I will always want to take the exam again."

Li Shuo's family has been used to the "tug of war" between him and the civil service exam. "He is a junior college student, and he has no special skills. What else can he do?" Li Shuo's mother said in front of him to the reporter.

Although he was able to push up the weight equal to twice his own weight on his back, so far, the young man's arm has not been able to open the door of any mechanism. Unless it is from Sixi Food Factory.

Li Shuo's father, who used to work as a temporary worker in the tax bureau, built a factory to produce Yuanzi in the town. From a distance, it looks like an official compound. A five-star red flag and a "Four Joy Food" flag with yellow characters on a red background were hoisted in front of the door.

Next to the boss desk in the General Manager's office, there are two unicorns and a bronze bull. On the wall, there is a big plum blossom painting that "strives for taste without striving for prosperity rather than seeking for characteristics without being plain". Li Shuo and his father unloaded the dumplings pulled from the store to the cold storage, and piled the boxes for packing the dumplings on the back seat of the car next to the suits that he had not had the chance to wear for several days.

"My business is like a business now. Although I have money in arrears, two or three hundred thousand yuan is small." He hopes his son can help him. His specific job is to look at the shop.

Li Shuo doesn't want to be confined in the world of Yuanzi. He has passed the photographer qualification test, submitted his resume to Meituan.com, and is envious of students who earn more than 10000 yuan a month at Mercedes Benz 4S stores. "In fact, I don't know what I want to do, and I haven't tried anything." Standing in front of the Yuanzi shop in the food market, Li Shuo put his hands in his pockets and looked into the distance.

He has found a new job in a 4S store, but "as long as he thinks about the civil service exam, he can't sleep at night". It almost became a nightmare that troubled him.

In front of the computer screen, when seeing Li Shuo's group picture entitled "Xiao Li's Seventh Public Examination", Dong Hang "looked at it again and again several times", smoked one cigarette after another, then shut down the machine and went to sleep without thinking about anything. "He couldn't sleep after thinking about it."

One evening in May, three young people sat together, half a cup of white wine mixed with half a cup of Red Bull. Dong Hang gulped it down and said with a smile, "I'm going to be a father.". Xie Tengfei said, "If the economic conditions were better, I would like to keep going, but I am engaged to my girlfriend."

Before the results come out, these young people don't want to think too much about what would happen if they didn't pass the exam, especially at the wine table. "This exam is also very harmful." Xie Tengfei put down his glass of wine. "Every time he says he will not take the exam, he will find a job to live safely, but he will take the exam next time."

After drinking a cup of wine, words also spilled out, "I still have my old police uniform to wear after passing the exam!" Li Shuo said loudly, "Sometimes I really want to go back to school to see, but I am ashamed to go back if I failed to pass the exam."

He still remembers the first time he took the civil servant exam, with an average score of 62. At that time, he "dreamed of becoming a policeman". He happily regarded this experience as a training on the way to realize his dream, and continued to register for the national civil servant exam and the public institution exam that year. At that time, he did not know that this was just the beginning. (Chen Mo)
