According to British media reports on October 4, Dubai officials recently announced plans to spend 665 million pounds (about 6.8 billion yuan) to copy India's Taj Mahal. The replica Taj Mahal is not only five times the size of the historical relics, but also contains a shopping center, a five-star hotel with 300 rooms, hotel apartments, wedding dress shops and other service facilities.

Even with the world's tallest building, the Khalifa Tower, the seven star hotel Dubai Yacht Hotel, and the world's largest artificial island, the Palm Island, which is full of luxury mansions, Dubai investors are still dissatisfied. They hope to attract newlyweds to come for vacation or wedding through the new Taj Mahal project.

The Taj Mahal, located in the northern city of Agra, is a marble tomb built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his third wife Taj. It took 22 years to complete. The Taj Mahal project in Dubai is planned to be completed within two years. The developer hopes that Dubai will be known as the "New City of Love" in the future.

This love filled project has excited many people. Some visitors commented on the website of the project: "Please imagine how romantic it would be for a pair of passionate lovers to hold a landmark wedding ceremony here! It is also a perfect gift, isn't it?"
