Cadre School of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Railway Corps
Historical evolution
In June 1950, in order to strengthen the regularization and modernization of the Railway Corps and meet the needs of new China's railway repair and construction, the Central Military Commission approved the establishment of a railway army cadre school.On September 1, the Cadre School of the PLA Railway Corps was established in Beijing, which is the predecessor of Shijiazhuang Railway Institute.On November 6, moved to Luoyang, Henan.
In May 1951, the Central Military Commission approved the site selection of Shijiazhuang. During the cadre school, 3409 students were trained for the railway emergency repair in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the Korean War.
In April 1958, Chongqing Military Transportation School was incorporated.

In April 1954, the Central Military Commission ordered it to change its name to the Railway Corps School, which was established at the division level.We began to train junior and intermediate railway commanders.

On July 8, 1983, the General Logistics Department informed the Military Transportation Department of the College to hand over to the PLA Advanced Logistics School from August 1.The department moved to Wuhan in 1984.[3]

The People's Government of Hebei Province, the State Railway Administration and the Ministry of Education jointly issued the Opinions on Jointly Building Shijiazhuang Railway University.
In January 2017, the school won the 2016 Science and Technology Award of China Railway Society.
In September 2019, the school was selected as the collaborative innovation center jointly built by the province and the ministry, and the school's Longshan campus was unveiled.[5]
In October 2021, the university became the chief supervisor unit of the National Emergency Technology and Management University Alliance.[33]
