Zhu Kezhen College
Zhu Kezhen College of Zhejiang UniversityFounded in May 2000, it is an honorary college named after Zhu Kezhen, the old president of Zhejiang University. It implements "special training" for outstanding undergraduate students of Zhejiang University. Its predecessor was the mixed class (engineering) of Zhejiang University founded in 1984.
After entering Zhu Kezhen College, students, regardless of their majors, will first carry out the preliminary training of general education courses and basic courses on the three major platforms of literature, science and engineering.In the second academic year, the major will be confirmed according to their own interests and expertise, and will enter the later stage of training. At the same time, the undergraduate professional tutor system will be implemented.
Since 2006, the "Basic Framework for Special Cultivation of Undergraduate Education" has been specially formulated for outstanding undergraduate students. Students can not only be trained in the later stage according to the general channel of each major, but also can be trained in the later stage according to the long school system, dual majors, dual degrees and other multi-channel and multi specification development channels;In the later stage of training, the college focused on building a multi-channel, multi specification, modular professional education talent training model;The "Basic Framework for Special Cultivation of Undergraduate Education" has been specially formulated to provide diversified learning and development paths for outstanding undergraduate students;Students can not only be trained in the later stage according to the common channel of each major, but also can directly enter the postgraduate training according to the long-term education system (such as the eight year undergraduate, master and doctoral continuous study of medicine, undergraduate, master and doctoral continuous study of education, undergraduate, master and doctoral continuous study of law, undergraduate, master and doctoral continuous study of management), as well as dual major, dual degree (such as computer+X, biology+X, foreign language+X, X+information, X+managementX+law, X+economy and trade) and other multi-channel and multi specification development channels.
In addition to the three major platforms of literature, science and engineering, Zhu Kezhen College also has a cross disciplinary undergraduate talent training platform of innovation and entrepreneurship management strengthening class, public management strengthening class and engineering education advanced class.
Zhu Kezhen College drew on the experience of prestigious colleges in China and abroad, and selected a group of knowledgeable, active and experienced academic leaders, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Changjiang Scholars, government funded scholars, doctoral supervisors, "Top Ten My Favorite Teachers of Zhejiang University", "Teaching and Educating Pacesetter", etcTeachers who are enthusiastic about teaching work undertake teaching tasks.

During the "Twelfth Five Year Plan" period, Zhejiang University, as the leading unit, won one Grand Prize, six First Prizes and 37 Second Prizes for National Science and Technology Progress;《Series of Chinese Painting in Past Dynasties》, Chinese Ritual Collection, Dunhuang Studies and other cultural inheritance and innovation achievements have had a certain impact at home and abroad in China.
