In June 1993, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, Guangzhou Overseas Chinese Student Tutorial School was incorporated into Jinan University and merged with the Department of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and the Preparatory Department of Jinan UniversityChinese School of Jinan University。[9]

This campus is located at 206 Qianshan Road, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. On April 29, 2000, Jinan University signed an agreement with the Zhuhai Municipal Government to further cooperate in the construction of Zhuhai College, moving the college from Tangjiawan to the urban area of Zhuhai. The campus covers an area of nearly 900 mu.Qian Weichang, former vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, laid the foundation for the new site of the college. As of September 2023, the campus has 6 professional colleges, including the School of Humanities, the School of Translation, the International Business School, the School of Packaging Engineering, the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering/the School of Artificial Intelligence Industry, the International Energy Institute, the Rail Transit Research Institute, the Internet of Things and Logistics Engineering InstituteFour research institutions, including Advanced and Applied Chemical Synthesis Research Institute and Energy and Power Research Center, 12 municipal (including) or above scientific research platforms, and 18 undergraduate majors.There are 7021 students of all kinds, including 5366 full-time undergraduate students, 1640 full-time postgraduate students and 15 doctoral students.There are 401 teaching staff, including 210 full-time teachers, including 2 academicians, 33 teachers with senior professional titles, 79 teachers with deputy senior professional titles, 3 foreign teachers, and 163 people with doctoral degrees (accounting for 78% of teachers)[104]。

Panyu Campus
The campus is located at No. 855, Xingye Avenue East, Panyu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. On May 19, 2012, with the strong support of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Guangdong Provincial Government and other departments, the foundation of the Panyu campus was broken;It was completed in September 2014 and the first phase construction plan was successfully completed.In December 2021, the construction plan of Panyu Campus Phase II Project was officially approved.On February 20, 2023, the student dormitory T8The construction of T9 building began on site. After the construction is completed, Panyu Campus will accommodate more than 26000 teachers and students.
