On November 6, 2022, the research team led by Pennsylvania State University developed a 3D bioprinting multi-scale vascularized breast tumor model based on dynamic flow for the first time, which can respond to chemotherapy drugs and immunotherapy. This research will help scientists understand how human immune cells interact with solid tumors, and lay a foundation for precise development of tumor models.Animal experiments may not be needed in the future research and development of anti-cancer therapy.[2]
