It is very important to make a good backup of WordPress data, otherwise one day the space will hang up or misoperate, and the data will be lost and disappear, which will make you want to cry.
Backup can directly export the database in the MySQL management background, or install backup plug-ins for regular backup, or use the export function provided by Wordpress to save it as an XML document. However, you cannot export linked tables (Blogroll) by using the export function provided by Wordpress. Although you can export all data including linked tables by operating MySQL, the operation is slightly complicated and difficult for beginners.
Although WordPress does not provide link export function, we enter similar information in the browser https://zmingcx.com/wp-links-opml.php Address, you can get the link list of a WP site. Just replace zmingcx.com with your own domain name, and then save the opened link page as an xml file (WordPress link storage file is an OPML file with the suffix xml). Enter the WP background import page and click Blogroll (Note: WP3.0+has taken the import and export function as the plug-in installation form, click the "link" on the import page, and it will automatically jump to the plug-in installation and download page, and the Blogroll function will appear after installation), as shown in the following figure:
The right side imports the OPML file just saved, and the left side can directly enter the address of the link table to be imported.
However, it is a pity that the linked table exported by the above method of Wordpress cannot save the description and opening method of the original link.
If you must completely retain the relevant contents of the original linked table, you can only operate the database. If you only export the linked table, you can enter the MySQL management background. Click Export above. On the export setting page, select only wp_links. The export type can be SQL. Right click Execute.
Then import the SQL in the required site data, and you can completely import the link tables of other sites.
