PDMS The software was developed early and belongs to the old software. In 2021, Win11 was launched, and 2.5k high split screen was popularized in laptops. However, the software display did not match. At present, the display of pdms is blurry after it is opened (the screen resolution is 1920 * 1080 and the display is not blurry). Three methods were tried on the Internet, including modifying the dpi as the system, modifying the zoom ratio, modifying the registry and adding the manifest file, all of which failed. See this post for a summary of all methods: Solve the problem of fuzzy display of win10/11 high split screen font (summary of 4 methods)
Only the available methods are listed below, which is a common method for the desired software: modify the high DPI of the exe program to the application program [The method is feasible!! Under 2.5K]
Right click the shortcut or exe file of the software, select "Properties - Compatibility - Change High DPI Settings", click "High DPI Scaling Override", and select "Application". At 2.5K, the software is finally clear.
But there is a problem. Which exe file or files does pdms modify? Don't worry, I have finished the test, and now I will release it to you! Note that PDMS is not modified BAT。
Open the pdms installation directory, such as C: AVEVA Plant PDMS12.1.SP2, and the exe to be modified is as follows: Exe name | Associated Modules | | | | | | | | | | |
Maybe you want to ask, what about other modules? For example, Paragon? I don't know. After testing, it is found that modifying the above exe is enough, and the Paragon module is not ambiguous.
Note that not all execs should be modified, and mon.exe should not be modified, otherwise the login interface will display a problem. Mon.exe was called on the login interface.
After the exe was modified, the font was not blurred, and the toolbar icon became smaller. Fortunately, the text did not become smaller, and the text size was normal. So it was solved perfectly.
Here are the effects: Before des.exe modification:
After des.exe is modified:
