Poor evaluation treatment method - merge the same ASIN

First principle:
Because there are too many listings on Amazon's market, Amazon can merge the same listings together to reduce the number of the same products and facilitate buyers' shopping.

Case:
Suppose the following two lists are respectively SKU and ASIN of listing-1, SKU1 and ASIN1, and SKU and ASIN of listing-2, SKU2 and ASIN2.

Now we need to transfer the inventory of listing-1 to listing-2,
Step 1: merge, open the case in the background to merge, then select "remove" ASIN1, and keep ASIN2.

Step 2: After the Merge is completed, the ASIN of Listing-1 is changed to ASIN2
When merging, make sure that the information of listing-1 and listing-2 is consistent, including brand, title, price, copy, picture, and manufacture part number. They can also be blank.

Step 3: Then open a case to apply for transferring inventory, and open a case from the FBA logistics path.
Note: It takes a long time to transfer inventory. Whether it can be implemented depends on whether the warehouse supports it; Allow at least two weeks to transfer inventory; During the transfer, listing can be sold normally.

Step 4: Apply for split to separate ASIN1 from ASIN2, and provide the original information of ASIN1. The reason for opening the case is: "ASIN1 and ASIN2 are different versions of the same product, and one of them has been upgraded and improved in detail. The previous merge was due to misoperation."
After the split is successful, the asin of listing1 is changed to ASIN1
Note: By default, reviews follow ASIN, but Amazon teams can modify which listing (asin) reviews belong to. Now it is not allowed to merge reviews through merge.

Now most merges refuse to merge even if the listing is identical
