This is the second article in the series, which focuses on the installation of RetroArch.
Software to be installed
We will install the following two software:
- RetroArch (required)
- DurangoFTP (optional)
RetroArch is the main simulator program, so it is required.
DurangoFTP is a file transfer software. Through it, you can use a computer to connect to the XBOX host through the network to copy files without using a USB flash drive to move around.
Although the file operation will be based on DurangoFTP, this tutorial is also applicable to copying files from a USB flash drive.
On the XBOX side, the operation methods of the two are completely the same. The only difference is that the selected file paths are different.
Installing RetroArch
First install RetroArch. Choose one of the following two ways.
For most students with blocked internet access
Notice: Gamr13 will no longer disclose the software address. The new address must be obtained from the DISCARD channel. Please know.
Method to access the Discard channel: switch to the following page and select Discard access (proxy required)

Find the EDGE browser of XBOX (provided by the system), open it and visit the above website:
After opening, click the three horizontal lines button in the upper left corner to switch to the XBOX page:
After switching pages, wait a few seconds for the page to refresh, and you can see the following pages:
XBOX moves the joystick to slide down the webpage to find RetroArch in the simulator category , click install , will jump to Microsoft Mall, and click Install in the Mall.
For students with smooth internet access
Go directly to the website of Gamr13 to download its AppStore application:

After the download is completed, enter the application. The subsequent operation is similar to the above, omitting the table.
If you enter the Gamr13 AppStore and the screen goes blank or an error is prompted, your network is not so smooth. Please try to install it using the "Rabbit Toolbox" page above.
Install DurangoFTP
Installing DurangoFTP is similar to installing RetroArch, except that it is classified in the tool (Gamr13 AppStore is Tool).
As above, find DurangoFTP, click Install, jump to Microsoft Store, and then click Install.
