From idea to achievement, what is needed is an opportunity, or an action. Hack for Wuhan Hacksong launched by Wuhan 2020, the Open Source Agency and Datewhale is such an opportunity.
More than a month ago, the wuhan 2020 community, an information war epidemic platform built rapidly, quickly gathered more than 4000 volunteers, so that information and resources can be efficiently integrated and transmitted here, thus building the largest open source organization in the process of epidemic resistance.
The Hack for Wuhan Hackathon Competition, which is currently in full swing, adopts the Hackathon approach to continue this mode of collaboration and sharing, attract contestants at home and abroad, create innovative solutions, and incubate them to meet the social challenges brought by COVID-19.

In Hack for Wuhan Hacksong Contest, what should the players accomplish?
The contest with the theme of "solving the social crisis and challenges behind the epidemic with digitalization and open collaboration" is a process of completing the process from brain holes to solutions and implementing ideas to product prototypes in three days.
In the submitted work plan, we saw many ingenious and original projects:
Warm hearted, guide everyone to pay attention to the psychological ups and downs during the epidemic;
A worry relieving grocery store with brain holes to store and sell epidemic stories;
Responsible for trying to develop a one-stop open platform for epidemic data;
Be responsible for helping Wuhan and even the whole country to quickly track the transportation of materials and other services;

The competition soon focused everyone's ideas, formed creative projects that can be displayed, and collected 50+project plans.
Ideas and concepts are just a beginning. Judge whether they are feasible, test whether they are available, and realize the leap from 0 to 1. This is the task and charm of Hack for Wuhan Hackathon.
In order to help the players put their ideas into practice and provide technical and innovative support for the competition, more than 40 technology and industry leaders were invited to the competition.
In the "Hacksong Master Class" before the game, Silicon Valley Internet celebrities bigjoe, Jiang Cunchun, Han Chen, Qu Xiaoyin, CEO of Run The World, and Xue Ge, the initiator of wuhan 2020, took turns to fight.
Through online interaction, let's talk about how to conduct user research, trial and error iteration, how to find problems with the best eye and solve them with a big brain hole, and how to participate in Hacksong activities more quickly (mei), faster (ri), better (mei) and better (ye).

Among the submitted projects, the organizing committee selected 38 teams for the preliminary round. In the preliminary stage, the competition provided one-on-one tutoring (Office Hour) from tutors, and let everyone deepen and improve their project plans through more than 90 time periods of careful guidance.

After the preliminary preparation and two days of intense preliminary competition, the final final finally came!
The final of Hacksong will be officially opened on March 8. After the selection of professional review team, 10 teams will reach the final.

In the final, the contestants will polish their works with their tutors, and carry out a road show on the works from 12:00-15:00 on March 8 to show the crystallization of different inspiration sparks in the past few days.
