Security Forum Update

• The Security Forum continued to make steady progress on its projects and activities. The ZTA Working Group successfully completed Forum Review of the Zero Trust Commandments Snapshot, Version 1.0 and the Zero Trust Reference Model Snapshot, Version 1.0. These documents will enter a harmonization period later this year to ensure consistency with two security architecture documents from the Security Forum’s Security and Risk Management Working Group. These documents are the Security Architecture Principles Snapshot, Version 1.0 and the Security/Risk Reference Architecture Snapshot, Version 1.0. These documents are still in development but publication is expected by early 4Q2023.
• The Security Forum also continued working with The Open Group Staff on updates to the Open FAIR ™ Certification Program that ensure the Certification Program is aligned to the newest version of the Open FAIR Standards.

The Open Trusted Technology Forum Update

• The Open Trusted Technology Forum (OTTF) began to develop a survey around business continuity in the supply chain and cyber supply chain risk management, both of these from the perspective of a manufacturer / Open Trusted Technology Provider ™. These surveys will feed into an OTTF Supply Chain Security Roundtable in 4Q2023 that intends to identify the current most pressing supply chain security issues and best practices used to mitigate them.
• The Open Trusted Technology Forum also continued its collaboration with the Security Forum to develop a White Paper on performing supply chain risk management (SCRM) in a quantitative manner (using the Open FAIR ™ methodology and framework). This document aims to demonstrate that SCRM can be done quantitatively and that the Open FAIR Body of Knowledge and the Open Trusted Technology Provider Standard (O-TTPS) are compatible.
