BackupLoupe is an alternative GUI for Time Machine. Its core is an interface similar to Finder, in which you can select snapshots and display the backed up content to you.
Data recovery in case of time machine failure
BackupLoupe may recover your data even if Time Machine does not recognize the old backup or cannot recover specific items.
Restoring files and folders with a backup magnifying glass is as simple as pie. Select Restore Or drag the item to the Finder window. When restoring a directory, you can select either a full restore (the directory and its contents are the same as those at the time of backup) or a partial restore (only restore the items backed up in this particular snapshot).

Finder Integration
BackupLoupe is attached to the context menu of Finder. Select Show Time Machine Revisions to find the backup history of the selected file. Preview any changes captured and restore them as needed.
Processing multiple hosts and backup volumes
BackupLoupe 3 handles multiple hosts and backup devices. Use the built-in Disk Manager to view the location of backups and the time period they cover. You can also mount and unmount the backup file system from here.
