The Philippine Ministry of Health said on the 16th that the number of whooping cough cases in the country was still on the rise. Statistics show that from January 1 to April 6 this year, there were 1477 cases, 63 of which died.

The Ministry of Health of the country said that 76% of the cases were less than 5 years old, and the shortage of vaccine was still the main reason for the continuous rise of the disease. However, the 3 million doses of vaccine needed at present will not arrive until about June.
