Question 5: How can I sign up for the Western Plan?

Question 7: What is the recruitment process of the Western Plan?

Question 8: What are the physical requirements for participating in the Western Plan?

Question 9: Which provinces will be served by the national projects of the 2021 Western Plan? When is the registration deadline? How to fill in the application form?

Question 11: How about my treatment during my service?
If you are admitted as a volunteer for the national project of the Western Plan, the central finance will grant a subsidy (including work and living subsidies, social security, etc.) of 30000 yuan per person per year in the western region (40000 yuan per person per year in the four southern Xinjiang prefectures and Tibet) and 24000 yuan per person per year in the central region, and allocate it to the provincial financial department through the general transfer payment system settlement. Local governments at all levels shall make overall plans for the central government's subsidy funds and their own financial resources, pay you work and life subsidies in full on a monthly basis, and bear the part of your social insurance unit's contribution (the part paid by individuals shall be withheld from the volunteer's work and life subsidies). Question 12: How long is my service period?
Your service period is flexible. The service period is 1-3 years, and the service agreement is signed once a year. Question 13: What training will I have before going on duty? I have never been to the west. I wonder if I can be competent for service work. What should I do?

Question 14: When do I attend the pre job training?
July 20-31 is usually the time for volunteers to report for duty and train. Question 15: What procedures should I go through after arriving at the service place?

Q16: Can I adjust the service location during my service?

Question 17: How can I prove my identity?

Question 20: What preferential policies can I enjoy for postgraduate entrance examination?

In the implementation plan of the Western Plan, it is also specified that if the volunteers have passed the assessment after their service expires, the service period and length of service shall be calculated according to the actual service years (the time of participation in the work shall be calculated from the date of their registration at the grass-roots level), which shall be reflected in the service certificate and service appraisal form.

Question 24: Can I apply for tuition fees of college graduates and national student loans?
According to the relevant provisions of the Notice on Printing and Distributing the Interim Measures for Tuition Fees of University Graduates and Compensation of National Student Loans (CJ [2009] No. 15), since 2009, full-time undergraduate and junior college students (including higher vocational students), graduate students The second bachelor's degree fresh graduates who participate in the Western Plan will be employed in grass-roots units in the central and western regions and hard and remote areas, and the corresponding tuition fees and student loan compensation will be implemented if the service period is more than three years (including three years).
