Recently, Sandu Shui Autonomous County, Guizhou Province held the 2024 "May Day" International Labor Day and "May Fourth" Youth Day celebration conference. At the meeting, the Sandu Service Team of Wuhan University of Science and Technology Graduate Education Support League was awarded the collective honor of the May 4th Youth Medal of Sandu County.

It is understood that since 2013, Wuhan University of Science and Technology has sent postgraduate volunteer teaching groups to Sandu Shui Autonomous County, Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, for 11 consecutive years to help the development of local education. So far, a total of 107 volunteers have been dispatched. They shoulder the mission entrusted by the times, and with youthful enthusiasm and firm belief, they have composed music of dedication and love one after another.

In the past eleven years, the Sandu Service Team of Wuhan University of Science and Technology's Graduate Education Support Group has always adhered to its original intention and provided comprehensive education support for local children with the concept of "teaching people to fish". They not only teach children subject knowledge, but also pay more attention to training their comprehensive quality and practical ability. In addition to daily teaching, members of the research group also have a deep understanding of students' life needs and psychological needs. Through after-school exchanges, home visits, research, participation in student activities, telling personal growth stories and college life, they help students develop good habits and encourage students to establish lofty ideals and beliefs.

In the eleven years of love relay, 15 volunteers continued their efforts to build a fortress of love for the children of Sandu Special Education School, and to hold up their dream of going to school for the "Winged Angel". In the past eleven years, the "Science and Engineering · Didi GO" assistance scholarship has covered 24 schools in Sandu Shui Autonomous County, funded more than 1700 students in total, and awarded more than 1.6 million yuan of scholarships.
