On April 25, Southeast Network (Fujian Daily reporter Lin Zhilan), on April 24, Fujian Market Supervision Bureau (Intellectual Property Office) released the Report on the Development of Fujian Trademarks and Geographical Indications (2023). Last year, there were 229461 new effective registered trademarks and 2461620 new effective registered trademarks, up 8.1% year on year, ranking the seventh in China. Quanzhou has 765467 valid registered trademarks, ranking first among the cities with districts in China; There are 654 effective geographical indication trademarks, ranking the second in the country. There are 155 effective geographical indication trademarks in Zhangzhou, ranking first in the country. The province has been approved to use 3037 special geographical indications, ranking first in the country. Fujian's trademark brand development index has ranked among the top 7 in China for many consecutive years. The geographical indication industry of the whole province is mainly divided into planting industry, breeding industry and processing industry. Among them, 390 geographical indication trademarks in the planting industry cover fruits, tea, vegetables, medicinal materials, cereals, oils, flowers and tobacco, accounting for 59.63% of the total geographical indication trademarks in the province; 116 aquaculture products, including aquatic products, livestock and poultry products, accounting for 17.74% of the total; 148 processing industries, including processed food and handicrafts, accounting for 22.63% of the total. Zhangzhou, Nanping and Ningde ranked the top three in terms of the number of geographical indication trademarks in the cities divided into districts, with 155, 110 and 94 respectively, accounting for 55% of the total in the province. In recent years, our province has continuously deepened the reform of trademark registration facilitation. Last year, 10687 applications for registration, changes and renewals were accepted. 135 distinctive trademark brand guidance stations have been built in the province to carry out special fixed-point services such as trademark brand construction for enterprises. |
