Approaching Science 09/04/2014 Under the Glacier (Part 1)

Video Introduction

The main content of this program: Antarctica is mainly composed of ice. Most of the ice on the Antarctic continent is 2.4 kilometers thick. It is the world of snow and ice and penguins that we are familiar with. Seen from the surface of the ice, Antarctica seems very desolate. But what you see is the surface. In fact, we are still unfamiliar with it. The ice shield is like a huge barrier, hiding an unknown world below. The famous underwater photographer Wu Nobu and his team arrived at the South Pole, went deep into the sea under the ice sheet to explore the unknown world, and a seemingly barren but vibrant world unfolded before us.
