After several rounds of snowfall and cooling weather, several ski resorts in Jilin Province officially announced "opening" on the 17th, marking the opening of Jilin's new year of ice and snow tourism season.

On the same day, Jilin Beidahu Ski Resort, Changchun Miaoxiang Mountain Ski Resort and other well-known ski resorts were officially "opened". Ski enthusiasts at all levels of alpine ski trails were full of "itchy" skiers. They quickly slid from the top of the mountain to the bottom like arrows of departure, and the enthusiasm that had been silent for a long time was thoroughly aroused on this day.

The reporter learned that during the ice and snow season of 2018-2019, Changchun Miaoxiangshan Ski Resort is going to open 13 different levels of alpine ski trails for tourists to experience; Jilin Beidahu Ski Resort proposes to provide more leisure and health care services and products for tourists besides skiing.

Every winter, enjoying ice and snow in Jilin has become one of the options for many tourists at home and abroad, which has also helped Jilin Province to form four product systems of ice and snow leisure, hot spring health care, ice and snow sightseeing, and ice and snow folk customs.

According to the official data of Jilin Province, from November 1, 2017 to March 30, 2018, the province received 72.6389 million tourists in the ice and snow season, and achieved tourism revenue of RMB 142.181 billion. The tourist flow and tourism revenue both rose.

As usual in previous years, a large number of ice and snow tourism festivals in Jilin Province will also be held at the end of the year, including Jilin International Ice and Snow Tourism Festival, which focuses on rime tourism, Chagan Lake Winter Fishing Festival, which focuses on fishing and hunting culture, Vasa International Cross country Skiing Festival, which focuses on competition, and New Year activities of China, Russia and North Korea, which focus on international elements.

In addition, in order to further expand the volume of snow and ice tourism in Jilin Province, Jilin Province actively carries out cooperation with other provinces, such as launching a joint tourism community with Heilongjiang Province, and jointly building a "tourist exchange plan" with Zhejiang Province.
