On the spot of the "Champion Dialogue" of the ice and snow industry theme dialogue

People's Daily Online, Beijing, September 19 (Yang Qiaodong) This morning, the 2018 International Winter Sports (Beijing) Expo (referred to as "Winter Expo") opened at the National Convention Center. In the "Champion Dialogue" segment of the ice and snow industry theme dialogue held in the afternoon, Tang Weihong, vice president of People's Daily Online, acted as a guest to preside over the event, and together with Li Jianrou, the short track speed skating champion of the Sochi Winter Olympics, Chen Jianxin, the wheelchair curling champion of the Pingchang Winter Paralympic Games, Liu Jinli, the world champion of women's curling, and Guo Dandan, the first skiing world champion in China, four guests from sports experience The current work, as well as the Beijing Winter Olympics exhibition and other aspects, will jointly explore the role of role models in promoting China's ice and snow sports.

Li Jianrou, short track speed skating champion of Sochi Winter Olympics

On the scene of the dialogue, the four champions shared their experience of becoming attached to ice and snow, and gave some professional suggestions for the public to participate in ice and snow sports. Li Jianrou, who was born in Jilin City, Jilin Province, started skating at the age of 10. She said frankly that a good sports atmosphere and objective environment are the natural platform to guide her to engage in ice and snow sports For Chinese families who are willing to participate in ice and snow sports, Li Jianrou said frankly, "Ice and snow sports is a very passionate project for teenagers, and gifted children need more parental support. For parents, whether to let children become athletes is a choice. I hope more parents believe in their children."

After winning the championship in Sochi Winter Olympics, Li Jianrou retired bravely and chose to retire. Now, for the Beijing Winter Olympics, she returned to the competition field and chose to cross events, instead of snowboarding. In this regard, she said that her comeback now is more about the yearning for the competition field, and she feels deeply responsible for inheriting the short track speed skating. For the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, Li Jianrou said frankly that she hopes to stand on the field healthily. "Snowboarding is an extreme event after all. For the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, my goal is to stand on the field, because there are great challenges both in terms of the project itself and my age."

Chen Jianxin, wheelchair curling champion of Pingchang Winter Paralympic Games

Compared with Li Jianrou, Chen Jianxin is not so lucky. At the age of 18, Chen Jianxin suffered from a traffic accident, which caused high paraplegia. For a period of time after that, he was full of doubts and disappointment about his life. "When I was just injured, I felt that my life fell into a low ebb and I lost my goal." Later, Chen Jianxin first came into contact with fencing for the disabled by chance, but because his physical condition could not withstand the strength of fencing, he turned to wheelchair curling. This has also become a major turning point in his life. He said frankly that because curling has regained its optimism and openness, "I think I completely forgot my previous sadness when I was on the Olympic field and the podium. It can be said that sports gave me life and curling gave me hope."

There is no denying that winning the gold medal at the Pingchang Winter Paralympic Games is really of great significance to Chen Jianxin. This is not only an affirmation of personal hard work, but also an encouragement. As we all know, Yanqing is one of the three major competition areas of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, and Chen Jianxin is a native of Yanqing. For the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, Chen Jianxin also expressed his expectations, "I hope that I will step by step, walk steadily, work together with my teammates, and strive to participate in the Olympic Games again. The significance of playing at home is very different. It is not only an opportunity, but also a hope, but also my motivation."

Women's Curling World Champion Liu Jinli

Liu Jinli's association with curling is more or less "accidental". She admitted that in the age when few people knew what curling was, she was introduced to curling by her relatives. With the rise of ice and snow sports in China, curling has gradually entered people's vision. As for the current situation of curling, Liu Jinli said that the development of curling in China has caught up with a good time

When talking about the value of curling, Liu Jinli said: "Curling has taught me how to grow. I was very young and engaged in curling. It has taught me how to be a person. Curling is a team project. Each of us should understand each other, learn some advantages from each other, and tolerate each other's shortcomings. So it has taught me how to be a person, and grow with it."

In 2018, Liu Jinli participated in the Winter Olympics for the first time. As the second base of the team, she won the fifth place with the team. This result also gave the world champion more confidence and encouragement. At the same time, she is also full of expectations for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games. "I think it is everyone's dream to participate in an Olympic Games in his own country as an athlete. I want to say that no matter who participates, he will go all out to win glory for his country."

China's first skiing world champion Guo Dandan

In the lineup for the "Champion Dialogue", Guo Dandan is definitely a "big sister". Different from the other three athletes who are in the "year of playing", Guo Dandan's focus and experience today is more on the promotion and popularization of ice and snow sports, especially the combination with the campus.

Guo Dandan won the skiing championship in the 1997 Australia World Cup, which is a breakthrough in the history of skiing in China. In 2015, Guo Dandan chose to start her own business - to promote and popularize youth ice and snow sports. Now, she has become the promotion ambassador of the ice and snow into campus project. For this "new job", Guo Dandan also has his own understanding, "Now I'm doing this thing, to let everyone know about ice and snow, and then guide everyone how to generate interest and good will. I have insisted on this thing for four years, I have been doing it during the bidding period for the Winter Olympics, and it was also very hard at that time, but I like to conquer the impossible, and the challenge is impossible." Speaking of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Guo Dandan said that although he could not stand on the field, he still continued to work hard to promote ice and snow sports

Tang Weihong, Guest Host of Champion Dialogue and Vice President of People's Daily Online

At the end of the dialogue with the four champions, Tang Weihong, on behalf of all those who care about and support the Chinese ice and snow sports, expressed their respect and gratitude to the Chinese ice and snow people: "The development of ice and snow sports can not be separated from the power of champion models. Looking forward to 2022, China's winter sports will not only usher in the key node of restructuring the development pattern and adding breakthrough impetus, but also gain a rare dividend period in the popularization and cultivation of winter sports culture, and public participation in promoting healthy China. Seize the opportunity and move forward! As the first Olympic city to host the Summer Olympic Games and the Winter Olympic Games, Beijing is adhering to the Olympic concept of "green, shared, open and honest" to ensure that the Beijing Winter Olympic Games will be a wonderful, outstanding and extraordinary Olympic Games. Chinese ice and snow athletes, including these champions, are also working hard to achieve the goal of "competing to be brilliant". Let's cheer for them! Come on for Beijing! Cheer up for the great development of China's ice and snow industry! "
