Ren Wenxiu was an employee of a farm in Zhangshu City, Jiangxi Province. Two years ago, when she was working, she was accidentally crushed by a feeding device and broke her foot, which was identified as Grade 9 disability. Ren Wenxiu has talked with the person in charge of the farm about compensation for many times, but the two sides have failed to talk successfully because the compensation amount is too different.

At the end of last year, Ren Wenxiu heard that the city set up a diversified dispute resolution center, which solved many people's thorny issues. With a try attitude, she came to the center to ask for help.

Relying on the advantages of resource integration, under the leadership of the Center for Diversified Dispute Resolution, health, public security, justice and other departments carried out joint mediation, clarified the amount of compensation in accordance with laws and regulations, and timely guided both parties to step back. The mediation plan was finally approved by both parties, and the compensation was also paid in place soon.

In December 2022, in order to carry out the legal resolution of contradictions and disputes in a high-quality and efficient manner, the Comprehensive Management Center of Zhangshu City will integrate the resources of multiple centers such as the People's Visiting Reception Center, the Litigation Service Center, and the Public Legal Service Center to establish the Municipal Multiple Resolution Center for Conflicts and Disputes. Letters and visits, courts, public security, justice and other departments will be stationed in a centralized office to promote one-stop service for resolving contradictions and disputes.

According to the reform and innovation concept of "process reengineering, system reshaping, and organization restructuring", the center reorganizes the "one window acceptance" team of "petition+court", and the courts, procuratorates, public security, justice and other departments work together to provide "menu" services for the masses, and realize the transformation from conflict resolution to specialization, diversification, and rule of law, Effectively improve the satisfaction of the masses. Since the establishment of the Center, 186 disputes have been jointly mediated by multiple departments, and the Center has taken the lead in resolving 55 difficult and complex cases across regions and departments.

Find a diversified solution center for difficult contradictions and disputes, and settle trivial neighborhood disputes. The city has set up 32 mediation studios in 19 townships and sub districts to mediate conflicts and disputes on the spot, effectively extending the reach of conflict and dispute resolution at the grass-roots level, so that major events do not go out of the countryside and minor events do not go out of the village.

Last September, Jiang Jianbiao and Jiang Debing, villagers of Lou Village in Zhoushang Village, disagreed over the right to use the 20 cm road with hardened pavement in front of and behind their houses, which was reflected in the township government. Pi Jianxin, the head of the "Jianxin Mediation Studio" in the township, took a tape measure to conduct on-site measurement and mediation, and proposed to build a 20 cm drainage ditch in dispute, which was unanimously recognized by both parties.

In addition, the city has also actively attracted deputies to the National People's Congress, members of the CPPCC, rural "five elders", and local people to form a team of "law savvy people" in rural areas, to cooperate in the mediation of conflicts and disputes, to drive every family to respect the law, abide by the law, and use the law, so that the spirit of the rule of law can be integrated into every family. Since last year, the city has used diversified solutions to mediate 9651 disputes.
