The scientific and technological achievements of "key technology and application of laser multi degree of freedom error simultaneous measurement for CNC machine tools" passed the appraisal successfully

In the afternoon of May 4, 2022, the scientific and technological achievements of "key technologies and applications of simultaneous measurement of laser multi degree of freedom errors for CNC machine tools" presided over by Professor Feng Qibo of the School of Physical Engineering of our university passed the appraisal successfully. The scientific and technological achievements appraisal meeting was organized and held by the China Instrument and Meter Society. President Wang Jiaqiong attended the appraisal meeting. The appraisal committee is chaired by Academician You Zheng, President of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and vice chairmen by Academician Jin Guofan of Tsinghua University, Academician Ye Shenghua of Tianjin University, Academician Jiang Zhuangde of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Academician Tan Jiubin of Harbin Institute of Technology, and Academician Li Detian of Lanzhou Institute of Space Technology Physics, including Professor Zhao Weiqian of Beijing University of Technology It is composed of tension researcher of Beijing Great Wall Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology, Zhu Lianqing of Beijing University of Information Technology, Xu Lijun of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Yu Liandong of China University of Petroleum (East China), and Li Quanlin, senior engineer of Ningbo Tianrui Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. The appraisal meeting was presided over by Zhang Tong, Secretary General of China Instrument Society.

At the meeting, Wang Jiaqiong delivered a speech on behalf of the university, expressing warm welcome to the six academicians and experts attending the meeting, expressing gratitude to the Chinese Instrument and Instrumentation Society for its concern and support for our achievements appraisal and award application, and briefly introducing the research and development of Professor Feng Qibo's team in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing, precision measurement and instruments.

Professor Feng Qibo introduced the research background, research process and main innovative work of this achievement in detail, and demonstrated the developed measuring instrument on the spot.

The appraisal committee reviewed the test report, novelty search report, user use report, economic and social benefit report and other materials, and highly recognized the achievements of the team led by Professor Feng Qibo in the field of equipment manufacturing and precision measurement for more than 20 years. The appraisal committee agreed that the achievement is technically difficult, innovative, and has independent intellectual property rights. The achievement is at the international advanced level as a whole, and it is at the international leading level in terms of the simultaneous measurement technology of six degrees of freedom errors of linear axis and rotary axis and the laser direct measurement technology of 42 errors of five axis CNC machine tools.
