In recent years, focusing on building a green and smart material supply chain, State Grid Hubei Electric Power insists on the requirement of "warehousing inspection first, then storage and distribution on demand", combines the actual situation of the warehouses of power supply companies in various cities in Hubei, actively implements the intelligent and digital transformation of various functional areas by building or leasing places nearby, and vigorously promotes the construction of an integrated base of "inspection, storage and distribution".

When entering the testing center of the "inspection, storage and distribution" integration base of Wuhan Power Supply Company of the State Grid, automated and intelligent testing scenes come into sight.

It is understood that the "inspection, storage and distribution" integrated base of Wuhan Power Supply Company of the State Grid has the ability to detect 30 types of materials such as distribution transformers and power cables. In order to better meet the current material detection requirements, the base has also applied eight sets of national advanced detection equipment, including a new type of material detection device for charging piles and a test box to simulate Wuhan's humid and hot environment.

In the integrated operation of "inspection, storage and distribution", the detection link is the key. In recent years, in view of the difficulties such as repeated wiring, time-consuming and laborious in the traditional detection methods for key materials such as distribution transformers, State Grid Hubei Electric Power has innovated the detection methods, adopted automated complete sets of equipment, and realized the detection form of one-time wiring and parallel development of multiple detection projects.

At the "inspection, storage and distribution" integration base of State Grid Ezhou Power Supply Company, staff are working overtime to "check up" 175 distribution transformers one by one to ensure the quality and progress of distribution network construction in surrounding Huanggang area.

"Each transformer needs to do two tests. The complete set of equipment only needs to be connected to the line once, and then set the relevant parameters on the computer to achieve 'one key detection'." Xie Xianming, director of the supply department of Hubei Electric Power Materials Department of the State Grid, said that this time it only took three days. If the previous detection method is followed, it will take at least half a month.

Xie Xianming introduced that materials can only be put into storage after passing the inspection. Now there is a large demand for materials, and the traditional detection efficiency is low, which will lead to overstock of materials. Fast and efficient inspection has realized the "inspection upon arrival and inspection upon use" of materials. Although the storage space of the warehouse is limited, it is equivalent to the expansion of the warehouse in time and space.

In order to supply materials efficiently, State Grid Hubei Electric Power is still working hard on the distribution link. For conventional power grid construction and other work, the base adopts active distribution according to the demand plan; For emergency work such as power emergency repair and recovery, the base can directly deliver materials to the site, opening up the "last mile" of material distribution.

It is reported that since this year, the State Grid Hubei Electric Power has built six "inspection, storage and distribution" integration bases in Wuhan, Ezhou, Xiangyang, Jingzhou, Yichang, Xiaogan, etc., taking the eastern, central and western Hubei regions as the fulcrum, and gradually formed a power supply pattern radiating the entire Hubei region by region.
