People's Daily Online, Lanzhou, March 6 (Reporter Gao Xiang) On the afternoon of March 6, the Department of Commerce of Gansu Province, together with the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Gansu Province and the Gansu Federation of Trade Unions, held a press conference for the Lanzhou Beef Noodles Competition, a labor and skill competition for millions of workers in Gansu Province, in Lanzhou.
The reporter learned from the press conference that the beef noodle contest, with the theme of "inheritance, integration and innovation of ingenuity", was co sponsored by the Department of Commerce, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Gansu Province, and the Gansu Federation of Trade Unions. It aims to further stimulate the vitality of the catering market, carry forward the beef noodle culture of Lanzhou, promote the "going out" of beef noodle in Lanzhou, drive the employment and income of farmers, and help rural revitalization.
The competition is divided into municipal and state preliminary contests, provincial semi-final contests, provincial finals, awards and other links, with first, second and third prizes, "skill star" award and excellent participation award. The top 50 contestants will be awarded with certificates of award and prizes. The other 50 contestants who have entered the semi-final stage but failed to win a place will be awarded with excellent participation awards and awarded with certificates of honor and souvenirs.
In addition, the Department of Commerce of Gansu Province will organize and carry out the selection of "Lanzhou Beef Noodle Top 10 Brand Enterprises" and "50 Lanzhou Beef Noodle Demonstration Stores" at the same time of the competition. At present, more than 450 contestants have signed up for the competition. According to the schedule of the competition, the final will be completed by the end of June, and the award ceremony will be held in the first ten days of July during the Food and Culture Festival of the Lanzhou International Trade Fair.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Department of Commerce of Gansu Province, this beef noodle contest is a grand event of skill competition in Lanzhou beef noodle industry. It is of great significance to carry forward the spirit of craftsmen, inherit intangible cultural heritage, enhance the professional honor of skilled talents in Lanzhou beef noodle industry, enhance the brand influence of Lanzhou beef noodle, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the catering industry in Gansu Province.
