*Recently, many customers have come to inquire about the filing of imported food consignees. Here's a brief talk about the relevant procedures in Shanghai:
The enterprises that first make the import food consignee record need to meet the following conditions:
1. Food business license
2. The scope of business should include the scope of food
3. Commodity inspection self filing certificate
4. Import and export rights (foreign trade operator record form)
How to file after all conditions are met?
First, register relevant information online:

Enter the system, click Initial Application and fill in relevant information:
After filling in the relevant information, click Submit（ Note that the filing application number and query number will be generated after successful submission. Remember to save the screenshot ）
After online submission, go to the commodity inspection bureau where the company is registered to submit paper materials (each material needs to be stamped with the official seal of the enterprise). The required materials include:
1. Fill in the accurate and complete consignee filing application form;
2. Copies of the industrial and commercial business license, organization code certificate (new business license can be provided to replace the industrial and commercial business license and organization code certificate after the three certificates are combined), the identity certificate of the legal representative, and the registration form of foreign trade operators, and the originals shall be submitted for verification;
3. Enterprise quality and safety management system);
4. Organization structure, department functions and job responsibilities related to food safety;
5. The type of food to be operated and the storage location (the name, address, contact person, contact information and other information of the warehouse shall be provided, and the format can be referred to Annex 4. If the warehouse is leased, the copy of the lease contract, the business license of the warehousing enterprise or the filing certificate of the filing warehouse and other food storage qualification certificates shall be provided at the same time. The requirements for the storage site of imported food shall be referred to Annex 5;)
6. Relevant explanations (food variety and quantity) shall be provided for those who have been engaged in food import, processing and sales within two years;
7. In case of self inspection application, a copy of the registration certificate of the self inspection application unit shall be provided and the original shall be submitted for inspection.
