On the afternoon of September 19, Han Changfu, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, met in Beijing with the Danish Minister of Environment and Food, Jacob Elleman Jensen, who was invited to visit Denmark, and exchanged in-depth views on deepening bilateral agricultural cooperation.

Han Changfu fully affirmed the achievements of China Denmark agricultural cooperation in recent years, and believed that the agricultural cooperation mechanism between the two countries has been constantly improved, and the practical cooperation in agricultural trade and animal husbandry has been constantly promoted, which has laid a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation. Han Changfu stressed that China and Denmark have strong complementary advantages in agriculture. In the future, we should further tap the potential for cooperation. While continuing to implement traditional cooperation projects such as dairy and sustainable animal husbandry, we should constantly expand new areas of cooperation, especially strengthen mutual learning from rural development experience, so as to better promote the coordinated development of agriculture, rural areas and farmers.

Elleman Jensen fully agreed with China's opinion, saying that the Danish Ministry of Environment and Food regards China as an important partner and is willing to work together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China to promote bilateral agricultural cooperation to a new level.

After the meeting, Han Changfu and Elman Jensen jointly witnessed the signing of the cooperation agreement between Mengniu Group and Denmark Ala Group on China Denmark dairy technology center. (Long Xin ）
