The city of Aswan is built on the Nile River, and the river flows through the city. There are many remains on the small island in the middle of the river built by mud and sand. Aswan is located in the southernmost part of Egypt and belongs to Black Africa. Nubians have lived here since the ancient Kingdom of Egypt, so Aswan also has a Nubian Museum.
