Experimental Study on Promoting Anaerobic Digestion Reaction by Ultrasonic Pretreatment of Sludge
Using low-frequency ultrasound technology, the residual sludge of wastewater treatment plant was cracked to study the effect of cracking reaction on improving the rate and efficiency of anaerobic digestion reaction. The test results show that compared with untreated sludge, ultrasonic cracking can significantly improve the biogas production and organic matter removal rate of sludge anaerobic digestion, and shorten the anaerobic digestion time. In the range of 5~15min ultrasonic cracking time, the longer the cracking time, the greater the anaerobic digestion efficiency. After ultrasonic pretreatment of sludge, the anaerobic digestion time can be shortened from 20 days to 8 days under the condition that the biogas production and organic matter removal rate remain stable. It was also found that when the anaerobic digestion time of the cracked sludge was shortened, the gas production rate per unit of sludge increased instead.

The effects of mixing ratio and sludge retention time on the combined two-phase mesophilic anaerobic digestion process of kitchen waste and sludge were studied, When the TS ratio is 1 ∶ 1, the two-phase system has better gas production effect, organic matter removal effect and operation stability. With the extension of SRT, the organic load of the two-phase system gradually decreases, and the methane production rate correspondingly decreases.

Startup scheme and test of anaerobic digestion system for sludge with high solid content
Anaerobic digestion technology of high solid content sludge is a research hotspot at home and abroad at present. This paper takes the sludge with a solid content of 10% diluted from the dewatered sludge of Shanghai Bailonggang Sewage Treatment Plant as the research object, and conducts a preliminary discussion on the anaerobic digestion technology of high solid content sludge. The test results show that when the solid content of the sludge in the anaerobic digestion system increases to 10%, Each 1 m3 of sludge input produces about 16~18 m3 of biogas, which is much higher than the gas production rate of the existing concentrated sludge anaerobic digestion system (8~10 m3 of biogas m3 of sludge)
