Access to older product versions - updated January 2022

Customers who have purchased software licenses through the Microsoft Volume Licensing Program are eligible to use licensed legacy software. This is called the right to downgrade. Volume Licensing Downgrade Rights Briefing and Product Terms Details are provided in. -
If you have legally obtained the physical media (CD/DVD) of the old Microsoft products that the organization is currently licensed to use through the downgrade right, you can use these old software versions at will. -

For previous versions of products that are no longer available through VLSC, your organization can install them from any physical volume license media (integrated or subscription kits) that may have been received in the past. In addition, Microsoft dealers may have CD/DVD media in stock.
