Under the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic, all parts of the world are experiencing different levels of blockade. The lives of the small animals around us are also changing. Some need more care, while others are helping people through this crisis. More pets were adopted, and more livestock had to be euthanized because of the closure of meat processing plants. The wild animals living adjacent to human beings take the opportunity to occupy the recently deserted residence, while the stray animals in the city are hungry, because those who left behind the leftovers in the past are now cooking and eating at home. Today, we are presenting a collection of animals from all over the world to learn about the various destinies of small animals in this sudden world crisis.

1. Like other peers, this lamb wears a rainbow to support and thank the work and dedication of the British National Health Agency and other important staff. Will Lovell and Tom Lovell, two fifth generation shepherds on Manor Farm, came up with the idea. Shot in Oxfordshire, England, on April 26, 2020. (Visionhaus / Getty)

2. Lisa Fascia and her two children Nina and Alex meet the dog delivery staff Buddy and Barre at the door, as well as their beer delivery. Shot in Huntington Village, New York on May 3, 2020. The owners of these two golden retrievers are Karen Hewitt and Mark Hewitt. The Hewitts also run their own brewery. During the epidemic, they let the well-trained Buddy and Barre take the responsibility of "delivering beer" to nearby residents. Each dog has four empty beer cans hanging around its neck, and the destination is the customer's door, while Mark and Karen follow Buddy and Barre with beer ready to be poured into the cans. 3. The lion trainer Ashraf and his sister Bushla are in the apartment, performing a program with the theme of "home isolation, keep healthy" with 5-year-old African lioness Zhumana. Shot in Cairo, Egypt. Since the circus in Egypt was temporarily suspended during the epidemic, Ashraf recorded the lion stunts at home and shared them on social media. (Nariman El-Mofty / AP)

4. Sheep graze on Aventon Park golf course. Shot in Arvington, England, on May 1, 2020. During the epidemic, because the staff were forced to take a vacation, the stadium invited sheep to maintain the lawn in the park. (Peter Cziborra / Reuters)

5. At the Veterinary Center of the San Gregorio Animal Shelter, pet adopter Mary Carmen Arekin holds a newly adopted puppy. The shelter encourages people to adopt pets to pass the boredom during isolation. Taken on April 24, 2020, in the southern suburb of Mexico City, Aiasco. (Henry Romero / Reuters)

6. Nate Salpitt, co-founder of Sweet Farm, took the iPhone to participate Zoom "Goat 2 Meeting" video conference on. Shot on May 1, 2020, Half Moon Bay, California. Sweet Farm is an animal shelter about 45 minutes south of San Francisco. At present, the shelter is providing a new service. In the user's Zoom video conference, it borrows farm animals to "show up" instead of users. The service aims to make people's daily video conferences rich and interesting, and also make people realize the negative impact of agricultural industrialization. (Justin Sullivan / Getty)

7. A zoo worker wearing protective gloves and a mask is feeding an elephant. Shot on May 6, 2020, Saint Pelernrez, the suburb of Nantes, France. (Loic Venance / AFP / Getty)

10. Several jackals are howling in Yakon Park in the center of Tel Aviv, Israel. Affected by the epidemic, Tel Aviv City took blockade measures. The park was almost empty, and the timid animals all stuck out their heads and went to places they had dared not go before to look for food. Shot on April 9, 2020. (Oded Balilty / AP)

11. Deer herds in Dagenham Park rest on the lawn outside a manor in Harold Mountain, attracting a man to stop and shoot. Shot on April 2, 2020, near Loford, London, England. Usually, semi urbanized deer herds are also common in the areas around the park. However, with the nationwide blockade, the roads became quieter, and the deer began to explore more new territories boldly. (Leon Neal / Getty)

12. The pigs raised by the fifth generation family farm, Old Elm Tree Farm, were photographed near Sickmore, Illinois, on May 5, 2020. Due to the recent closure of several major meat processing plants due to the outbreak of the epidemic, on the one hand, the farm raised pigs cannot be handled, on the other hand, there is a shortage of pork on the market, forcing some grocery stores to take purchase restrictions. Some farmers had to euthanize some livestock out of fear for the future. (Scott Olson / Getty)

13. The owner also put a mask on the little dog named Jig. Shot in Los Angeles on April 5, 2020. (Chris Delmas / AFP / Getty)

14. After the Indian government imposed blockade measures on the whole country, an Indian Blue Cross worker fed stray dogs near Malina beach. Shot in Chennai, India, on April 22, 2020. It is estimated that in the past, there were about 30 million stray dogs and 5 million stray cattle on the streets of India. However, with the lifting of the blockade order far away, the commercial and industrial areas in many cities have become ghost towns without people, and the animals on the street are also unattended. 15. A bull of Juan Pedro Domec, a Spanish breeder, wandered near the Loalvaro farm. Shot on April 28, 2020, near Seville, Spain. During the epidemic, Spain cancelled thousands of bull related activities, forcing breeders to send some of their bulls to slaughterhouses to cover the feeding costs - but compared with the income from selling bulls to various activities, it is still insignificant. 16. An Indonesian coachman was sitting under a highway bridge with his horses beside him. Taken in Jakarta, Indonesia, on May 6, 2002.
