Print documents from Mac
For a document open on a Mac, choose File>Print, or press Command-P. The Print dialog box opens, displaying a preview of the printed document. [Note] You may see different options in the Print dialog box, depending on your printer and the app you use. If the following steps are different from what you see, please click "Help" in the menu bar to view the documents applicable to the app you are using. Prompt To see a full size preview in the Preview app, click the PDF pop-up menu, and then choose Open PDF in Preview. If the settings in the Print dialog box can be used as is, click Print, and you are finished. Otherwise, continue with Step 3. To adjust print options, select one of the following common print settings: printer: Select the printer you want to use. If the printer is not available, you can add a printer. see also Add a printer to the printer list 。 Preset: Select a preset for the printer. A preset is a set of print settings. In most cases, you can use the default settings, but you can also select a set of settings stored from previous print jobs. see also Store common print settings 。 Copies: Specify the number of copies to print. To print all pages of the document before printing the next document, click Paper Processing, and then select Print Sheet by Sheet. see also Print pages in normal order 。 Print range: Specify the page you want to print. You can print all pages or select a page range. For example, you can print pages 6 to 9 of 10 pages of a document. You can also use the Selected Pages button to print the selected pages in the page number range. Click the page label in the Preview sidebar to select the page to print. The range of selected pages does not have to be continuous. For example, you can choose to print pages 2 and 4 of a 5 page document. Color printing: If the printer has this function, select to use color printing. Turn off this option, and the document will be printed in black and white. two-sided: If the printer has this function, select Open from the Double Sided pop-up menu to print on the front and back of the paper (also known as duplex print )。 You can also select Flip Short Edge to set the document to print for binding at the top of the page. Paper size: Select the paper size of the document. For example, when the printer loads 8.5 x 11 inch paper, select American Stationery. Direction: Tap the button to switch between vertical and horizontal directions. Changes to the document are displayed on the preview page in the sidebar. Zoom: Enter a zoom percentage to adjust the printed image to paper size. The changes are displayed in the preview page of the sidebar.
Click Print.
