If you want to stop using iCloud and related services on your device, you can log out of iCloud. These related services are listed below. Before logging out, make sure you don't feel uncomfortable because these services are turned off.   • App data of any third-party app you have installed and will use iCloud

When you log out, all information stored in iCloud will remain in iCloud. This information will be removed from your device unless you choose to keep a copy of this data when prompted. To help avoid data loss, make sure you have the latest ICloud Cloud Backup , if you have recently changed the content synchronized with iCloud, please wait for a while before logging out, or check iCloud.com Or another device to ensure that changes are synchronized.

If you use iCloud+and log out of iCloud from the device, you will not be able to access the following functions on this device: iCloud special agent, hidden email address, HomeKit security video support and custom email domain two

How to continue to use App Store, iMessage information and FaceTime calls on the device

When you log out of iCloud, you will automatically log out of App Store, iMessage information and FaceTime calls at the same time.

Sign out on iPhone, iPad or Apple Vision Pro

  1. Go to Settings and tap your name.

  2. Scroll down to the bottom.

  3. Tap Log Out.

  4. Enter your Apple ID password and tap Close. Forgot Apple ID password

  5. For the data you want to keep a copy on the device, open the corresponding option.

  6. Tap Log Out.

  7. Tap "Sign out" again to confirm that you want to sign out of iCloud.

If you can't tap your Apple ID or can't log out due to restrictions, please know what to do

Sign out on Mac

In macOS Ventura or later:

  1. Select Apple Menu>System Settings.

  2. Tap your name.

  4. If you want to keep a copy of iCloud data on your Mac before you log out, be sure to select the appropriate check box. Then click Keep Copy.

  5. If you want to keep a copy of your Safari browser password on your Mac, click "Keep on this Mac".

In macOS Monterey or earlier:

  1. Select Apple Menu>System Preferences.

  2. Tap Apple ID, and then tap Overview.

  3. Click "Log out".

  4. If you want to keep a copy of iCloud data on your Mac before you log out, be sure to select the appropriate check box. Then click Keep Copy.

  5. If you want to keep a copy of your Safari browser password on your Mac, click "Keep on this Mac".

Sign out on Apple Watch

When you log out of iCloud on the iPhone paired with the Apple Watch, you will automatically log out of iCloud on the Apple Watch.

Sign out on Apple TV

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Users and Accounts.

    • For the default account, select your name and then select "Remove user from Apple TV".

    • For other accounts, select your name, select "iCloud", and then select "Sign out".

Log out of iCloud for Windows

  1. Open iCloud for Windows.

  2. Click "Log out".

  1. Your Apple Cash and Apple Card accounts are associated with your Apple ID. You cannot transfer them to other Apple IDs or access them through other Apple IDs.
