In the women's singles semi-final, Chen Xingtong only took 16 minutes and 34 seconds to sweep Japan's Meiyou Kihara 3-0 (11-4/11-6/11-1) in three straight sets to advance to the final; Wang Yidi took 27 minutes and 55 seconds to win three cities in a row. He swept Japanese player Miyo Hirano 3-0 (11-9/11-6/11-7) and joined teammate Chen Xing in the final. Guoping again locked a championship in advance.

Liang Jingkun defeated teammate Zhou Qihao 3-1 (11-9/11-5/10-12/11-7) in a national table tennis civil war in the men's singles semi-final, reaching the final in 31 minutes and 43 seconds.
