On May 17, Beijing time, defending champion Zhang Siyang withdrew from the Mizuho Bank Open on Thursday due to illness. In the first round of the competition, she only completed three holes.

Zhang Siyang starts his day from the back nine holes of the Free Court. She is in the hole 10 Baopa, in the hole 11 swallowed double bogey, in the hole 12 Baopa. At the No. 13 hole, the par five tee, she left fellow players Gao Baojing and Albane Valenzuela, and then returned to the clubhouse.

Kevin Hopkins, Zhang Siyang's agent in the excellent sports management company, said that the two NCAA championship champions felt good all week, but on Thursday morning, they had stomach discomfort.

"I don't think she can end up," Kevin Hopkins said. "She tried."

At the age of 20, Zhang Siyang has just finished Nelly Koda's pursuit of six consecutive victories of LPGA and won the second victory of LPGA in the Founder's Cup. This is her first championship in nearly a year.

Last year, Zhang Siyang beat Jennifer Kupcho to win the tournament in the Extension Tournament, becoming the first player since Beverly Hanson to win LPGA when she made her professional debut in 1951.

This is the eighth event Zhang Siyang participated in this year. Last week, she caught four birds in the last five holes to make up the three shot gap, and finally beat Madelene Sagstrom by two shots to win. Her previous best ranking was tied for the fifth place, and she was eliminated twice at the same time.
