The team project of the 9th Asia Pacific Bridge Competition was competed in Bangkok, Thailand on May 20. On the first day, the three teams of the Chinese Legion played smoothly in the round robin.
In the open team event, the Chinese men's bridge team, composed of Lian Ruoyang/Lian Yong, Sun Gang/Cai Yang, Li Jie/Zhang Yongge, played five rounds today, ranking third in the scoreboard with a record of 4 wins and 1 losses.
In the first round of the Chinese women's team, Liu Yan/Zhao Lin, Wang Nan/Guo Ke, Wang Jian/Liao Zhengjiang went on the field one after another, and won two rounds in the other three rounds, losing to the Shandong women's team also from home, ranking fourth, and Shandong women's team is currently ranked first.
Mixed teams competed for 5 rounds today. The lineup of the Chinese mixed team is Lu Yan/Liu Yinghao, Sun Yanhui/Kuang Yuegang, Fu Bo/Chen Yichao. Although they won 4 rounds, other teams also played well. The Chinese mixed team is currently ranked eighth.
The doubles competition was held on May 18 and 19. The Chinese players won the first place in three events: Sun Guoquan and Huang Weiming won the championship in the open group; He Ziang and Gao Yichen won the first place in the youth group; Zuo Xiaoxue and Cong Jie won the first place in the Happy Duet.
