Rules of the 4th China Women's Go National Hand Competition "White Water Apple Cup"

Competition: August 2024, Baishui County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province
6、 Qualification:
1。 Professional women chess players who have set a stage in the China Go Association can apply.
2.8 seeded players entered the tournament directly. The selection method of seed players: the last champion and runner up, and the top six players in the latest ranking (as of April 30, 2024).
3。 The other players registered and the players approved by the sponsor will have preliminary matches. Eight players will be selected for the preliminaries. See the match table for the specific start time and round arrangement of the preliminaries.
7、 Competition method:
1。 The competition adopts the single defeat elimination system, and all grades are calculated.
2。 The preliminaries will be played in two rounds on each match day, and the time will be 30 seconds for each side one hour later. In this game, one round is played on each match day, and the time is 60 seconds after one hour for each side. If the game is over time, the team will lose.
3。 The game adopts the rules of Go approved by the China Go Association in 2002, with 3 and 3/4 pieces posted on the black side. In case of rare exceptions such as the three stroke cycle in the game, the game will be treated as no win or loss, and an additional game will be played immediately. The rules will not change, and the duration will be the time limit left by the original game of both sides.

9、 The chess players have the obligation to cooperate with the organizing committee to do a good job in the promotion of the event.
10、 Reward method:
200000 yuan for champion and 80000 yuan for runner up (both in RMB, before tax)
From this tournament, the organizing committee will bear the transportation, accommodation and match fee of the chess players.

12、 The final interpretation right of this regulation belongs to China Go Association.
