May 16 - Today, the Asian Football Confederation made an inventory of the top 10 players in the Asian Championship League in the past 21 years, including Zheng Zhi and Exxon, two Chinese players.

The 10 stars are: Quan Chuntai (Korean, the only player who has won three Asian Championships, retired), Omar Abdulrahman (UAE, winner of the 2016 Asian Championships MVP), Zheng Zhi (retired), Dosari (Saudi, currently playing in Riyadh Crescent, five times with the team to reach the Asian Championships finals, winner of the 2021 Asian Championships MVP) Li Tongguo (Korean, the historical archer of the Asian Championships, retired), Muhammad Noor (Saudi, scored three times in the final of the Asian Championships, retired), Abe Yongshu (Japanese, won the Asian Championships twice with Puhe Red Diamond, retired), Shamrani (Saudi, the first player to score on behalf of five different teams in the Asian Championships, retired), Exxon Abdullah Mayov (Saudi, holding the record of the most appearances and the most participation in the final of the Asian Champions League).

The AFC's comments on Zheng Zhi are as follows: In the 2010s, Guangzhou Team emerged as a new force in the Asian football world and became one of the top teams in Asia. As the team captain, Zheng Zhi led the team to make its first appearance in the Asian Championship in 2012, and in the following year, under Lippi's guidance, the team won the Asian Championship finals twice against Seoul FC, becoming the first Chinese team to win the Asian Championship. Then, with the participation of many international players and high-level foreign aid, Zheng Zhisui Guangzhou Team again stood on the championship podium in 2015. Although his goals were not many, his goals helped the team defeat Osaka Steel and Pakistan in the semi-finals, and witnessed the team win the championship by defeating Dibai Ahli in the final of the Asian Championships.

The AFC's comments on Exxon are as follows: he scored world-class goals twice in the final of the Asian Championships. At that time, Exxon was the grand master of the Guangzhou team. In the first round of the 2013 Asian Championships final, he helped the team win the Asian Championships in Tianhe Stadium with his excellent first touch and cold finishing ability. Two years later, he returned to the stage of the final of the Asian Championships again and killed the competition with a Bergkamp style turn in the competition with Al Ahli of Dubai. In addition, he almost went further with Shanghai Harbor in the 2017 Asian Championships semi-final. In the history of the Asian championship, only three players scored more goals in the Asian championship than Exxon.
