From May 7 to 17, the Fifth Research Group of the Advisory Committee of the Supreme People's Procuratorate went deep into the procuratorial organs in Jiangsu and Inner Mongolia to carry out special research around the "professional ethics construction of prosecutors". Xu Xianming, Deputy Director of the Advisory Committee of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, He Zezhong, Li Dingda and other advisory members participated in the survey.
During the investigation, the investigation team listened to the reports on the professional ethics construction of prosecutors in the procuratorial organs of Jiangsu Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and communicated face to face with prosecutors, judges and lawyers. Through field visits, forum exchanges, individual conversations and other ways, the research team has a comprehensive understanding of the situation of local procuratorial organs in cultivating professional groups of prosecutors, building institutionalized cultural leading mechanisms, and establishing a standardized procuratorial power supervision and restriction system.
The research team believes that, based on the new requirements of the new era, the procuratorial organs of the two places, guided by the construction of prosecutors' professional ethics, and pursuing the basic value of "handling each case well with high quality and efficiency", from the perspective of "three lines of defense" of law, discipline and morality, "three unifications" of justice, national law and human feelings, and "three manifestations" of personal morality, family virtue and social morality, Understanding and practicing the construction of prosecutors' professional ethics, promoting the overall development of procuratorial business, leading the procuratorial team to faithfully perform their duties and take on responsibilities, have made many useful explorations, accumulated replicable and promotable experience, and relevant work is worthy of recognition.
The research team suggested that we should thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's thought of the rule of law, deeply understand the position of the procuratorial organ as a political organ, legal supervision organ and judicial organ under the absolute leadership of the Party, deeply grasp the profound connotation and characteristic requirements of the construction of procuratorial professional ethics, and realize the organic unity of the procuratorial legal professional ethics and political ethics. Through repeated specialized training, we should constantly strengthen the professional quality of prosecutors, and cultivate the stable ability and quality of prosecutors to "reject the temptation of interests, human relations, power intervention, and self mediocrity", so that prosecutors' professional ethics become an important test indicator of procuratorial work. Through high-quality and efficient handling of each case, the people can feel, feel, and feel fairness and justice.
