The Science and Technology Daily (reporter Hua Ling) learned on May 20 that the 2024 Engineering Doctoral Forum of National Institute of Excellence of Tsinghua University was recently held in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. At the meeting, the scientific and technological innovation achievements of engineering doctoral students of Tsinghua University were released. More than 500 innovative leading engineering doctoral students from strategic emerging fields such as biomedicine and artificial intelligence attended the conference.
The theme of this forum is "Qing Yi Rong Chuang, New Quality Leading", and nearly 20 innovative leading engineering doctoral students' outstanding innovative achievements, including "single beam high-throughput scanning electron microscope and its cross scale material observation and analysis", "microfluidic reaction to prepare advanced high specific surface area nanomaterials", were exhibited on the site, with the purpose of promoting scientific and technological achievements to go out of the laboratory and serve the economy and society. The forum held theme salon activities around intelligent manufacturing, and set up academician keynote reports, academic discussions and exchanges and other links.
This forum has built an innovative cooperation platform for cutting-edge science and technology and engineering applications, which can give play to the role of Tsinghua University as a national strategic science and technology force and the advantages of Beijing Economic Development Zone in the development of high-class, sophisticated and cutting-edge industries, and promote the accelerated integration of relevant scientific and technological forces, scientific research achievements, and scientific resources.
