Yang Zhixin, 34 years old, worked as a mechanic in the factory before and became a delivery boy of Meituan crowdsourcing at the end of 2022. He is introverted and not good at talking.
On the afternoon of May 22, Red Star News reporters met Yang Zhixin, the delivery boy. As he recalled, when the incident happened, he rode his battery car around the street, waiting for orders. Suddenly, he heard someone crying for help. Hearing the sound, he saw a man waving a knife in his hand on a bus parked at the roadside. Without enough time to think, Yang Zhixin put down the battery car and rushed to the bus in three or two steps.
Yang Zhixin can't remember the details, only that there were two or three people on the bus trying to subdue the man. After getting on the bus, he fought with the man for a few minutes, and finally successfully grabbed the art knife from the other side and threw it out of the window.
"His strength is still very strong," said Yang Zhixin. Fearing that the man would continue to resist, he forced him to a seat until the police arrived.
Later, the nearby duty station, together with the police on duty, rushed to the scene and successfully controlled the suspect Ni with the help of him and other people.
