On May 22, according to the news from the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China (hereinafter referred to as CAAC), ICAO officially notified CAAC to accept it as a member of the global aviation training upgrade program. CAAC became the first university in Asia that can carry out qualification training in all fields of civil aviation, such as flight, maintenance, air traffic control, etc.
▲ CAIC teachers are conducting flight teaching According to CAAC The ICAO review expert group has conducted a detailed and specific review on the organization, training operation, training projects, equipment and facilities, quality management system and safety management system of CAAC in nearly five months, involving eight aspects and 202 audit items, with the emphasis on the evaluation of training courses, training processes and training quality management systems. After online preliminary review, self-assessment, on-site review, rectification and final review, CAAC finally became a member of the Global Aviation Training and Upgrading Program and was highly praised by ICAO.
The acquisition of this qualification marks that CAAC can develop and provide ICAO certified training course packages in all fields of civil aviation. At present, CAAC has nearly 60 teachers with international curriculum development qualifications certified by ICAO.
In the future, CAAC will rely on the ICAO global standardized curriculum sharing platform to accelerate the construction of a curriculum system that conforms to ICAO standards, provide standardized civil aviation professional training for countries, share with the world the successful educational experience and practices of CAAC, and provide a mature Chinese program for the global civil aviation modernization governance.
It is reported that CAAC is currently the world's largest institution of higher learning to train civil aviation pilots, known as the "cradle of civil aviation pilots in China", and the first full-time university in Asia to be selected into the ICAO "Future Aviation Talent Plan".
