Wang Jiangzhou stressed that 6G is a major change in mobile communication technology, which will promote the major transformation from mobile communication to mobile information services, and become a bridge for the deep integration of the physical world and the digital world. The vision of 6G is to build a future world of "digital twins and ubiquitous wisdom", in which the 6G network will achieve a qualitative leap on the basis of 5G, greatly improving network spectral efficiency, user peak rate, and reducing air port delay. Specifically, 6G network will support spectrum efficiency up to 1 Kbps/Hz, peak rate up to 1 Tbps, and air port delay will be reduced to less than 0.5ms. The magnitude improvement of network performance will provide strong support for new scenarios such as holographic communication, digital twins, synaesthesia interconnection, and super power transportation, bring users unprecedented new experience, and profoundly affect all aspects of social life.
In order to realize the grand vision of 6G, China Mobile Research Institute proposed that 6G is a new generation of mobile information network with deep integration of synaesthesia, computing and intelligence and full coverage of space, space and space. Wang Jiangzhou pointed out that the deep integration of synaesthesia, arithmetic and intelligence is the core innovation of 6G technology.
