In order to find out this group of talented and innovative young technology innovators or entrepreneurs who are likely to change the world《 MIT Technology Review 》Since 1999, young scientific and technological innovators under the age of 35 have been selected every year Give them the attention they deserve, affirm their innovative work in the technical field, and encourage them to continue to make greater achievements in the professional field.
After more than 20 years of precipitation, MIT Science and Technology Review "35 people under the age of 35 have made scientific and technological innovations"（ MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35； Referred to as "TR35") It has become one of the most authoritative evaluation systems for young scientific and technological innovation talents in the world. Of course, while focusing on the world, we should not forget that in every country and region, there are also such a group of young people who are making efforts for their development. In order to let more young innovators be seen, TR35 started regional selection in 2010.
As one of the most culturally diverse regions in the world, the economy of the Asia Pacific region is developing continuously and rapidly, and its power of scientific and technological innovation cannot be underestimated. From In 2021, since the launch of the new version of "35 people under 35 years old for scientific and technological innovation" in the Asia Pacific region ， At present, three sessions have been successfully held, and a total of more than 100 outstanding young people have come to the fore.
In 2024, we hope to use this platform to explore more young scientific and technological talents with great potential for development, and to push this group of young scientific and technological talents with quick thinking, constant inspiration and creativity to the stage of diversification and globalization; At the same time, more scientific and technological achievements of "bringing in" and "going out" will be added to the new chapter of Asia Pacific scientific and technological development.
What is the age requirement?
Candidates must be under 35 years of age on January 1, 2024 (that is, the date of birth is not earlier than January 1, 1989). The age on the ID card or passport document shall prevail.
Who can apply?
Citizens or residents of countries in the Asia Pacific region, including but not limited to China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), Brunei, Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Laos, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, etc.
Are there any requirements for academic qualifications?
TR35 The Asia Pacific region does not make special requirements on the education and occupation of candidates.
Are there any restrictions on the research field?
Including but not limited to electronic computers and hardware, Internet and electronic communication technology, software technology, advanced materials, biomedicine, aviation Days Energy environment , transportation, etc.

Do you need to pay fees to participate in TR35 selection?
There is no charge for TR35 selection.
After completing the registration, can you continue to modify in the system?
The registration cannot be modified after submission, so please carefully review before formal submission. If there are urgent changes after submission, please write as soon as possible tr35@mittrasia.com 。 We will make the final decision on whether to make changes in the background according to the specific situation.
If they were not selected in the past, can they apply again this year?
As long as you still meet the [registration conditions] and have confidence in your latest scientific research and innovation achievements, we welcome you to register again. The previous record of election will not affect the new declaration. You can also consider participating in the TR35 selection in other regions (such as China and the world).
Can the applicant receive the notification of declaration results?
Whether or not the candidate is selected, we will inform each candidate of the declaration results by email.
What is the difference in the selection criteria between TR35 China and TR35 Asia Pacific?
TR35 China aims to select young leaders from China in various scientific and technological innovation fields with international influence, and build a highly internationalized stage for these young scientists.
TR35 Asia Pacific aims to further promote the diversity of candidates, so that more countries and regions, including some economically underdeveloped regions, can participate in promoting scientific and technological innovation and young scientists. The selection of TR35 Asia Pacific attaches importance to cutting-edge technologies that can solve global problems and the contributions of candidates to local society, economy and sustainable development by using these technological breakthroughs.
Can I apply for TR35 in China, Asia Pacific region and the world at the same time?
The three evaluations are independent and can be declared at the same time.
