Recently, relying on the "Digital Twin Channel Platform with Enhanced Environmental Awareness" project declared by the Beijing Post China Mobile Research Institute Joint Innovation Center, it won the "Gold Award" of the 49th Geneva International Invention Exhibition.

Aiming at the limitations of traditional offline channel modeling methods in real-time adaptation to complex dynamic propagation environments, the platform uses innovative base station sensing and video sensing technologies. By introducing advanced computer vision algorithms, the platform can capture and analyze environmental data in real time, automatically reconstruct the propagation environment, and achieve accurate modeling of the channel environment.

Based on the channel environment reconstruction modeling theory of cluster core, the platform defines the matching cluster core between the propagation environment scatterer and the channel statistics cluster, and constructs a typical wireless channel environment. Using massive channel data closely related to the environment, the platform solves the generalization problem of channel digital twins, provides strong support for intelligent closed-loop optimization from the physical layer to the upper layer, and significantly improves the adaptability of 6G networks to complex environment changes.

For the design and optimization of future communication systems, this platform can not only realize the information acquisition and processing of online real propagation environment, but also extract and abstract key environmental information according to the requirements of different communication tasks such as beam selection, antenna selection, power control, resource scheduling, etc. This provides a solid foundation for intelligent closed-loop optimization of physical layer, access control layer and wireless resource control layer, and supports online optimization of transmission strategy and network performance.

In addition, the channel digital twin platform will continue to be optimized and upgraded for the six major application scenarios of the future 6G - immersive communication, ultra high reliable and low delay communication, ultra large scale connection, synaesthesia integration, communication AI integration and ubiquitous connection, to meet the diversified needs of 6G technology and application scenarios, and promote the process of endogenous intelligent research and development of 6G.

Since its inception in 1973, Geneva International Invention Exhibition has always been one of the most historic, large-scale and influential invention exhibitions in the world. This exhibition has gathered more than 1000 inventions and innovative technology projects from more than 50 countries. The 197 latest inventions and creations of the Chinese delegation were brilliant at the exhibition, winning 70 gold awards and 97 silver awards, demonstrating China's outstanding achievements in the field of innovation and invention.
