On the 4th of the Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily, Global Foundries, a semiconductor manufacturer headquartered in the United States, recently informed employees that the company plans to cut as many as 800 employees worldwide, mainly non productive positions. It accounts for 5.7% of the company's 14000 employees worldwide.
