On May 21, the reporter learned from Galaxy Space (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Galaxy Space) that recently the company and its partner Mahanko University of Technology in Thailand realized the first test verification of LEO satellite Internet broadband communication network in Thailand. This is the first overseas application and exploration practice of China's LEO broadband satellite Internet.
It is reported that Galaxy Aerospace has built a ground test station based on the LEO broadband Internet test constellation "Little Spider Web" at Mahanko University of Technology in Thailand, which mainly includes mobile gateway stations, satellite communication terminals and other parts. After the LEO broadband satellite Internet communication network test verification, The communication capability of millimeter wave band satellite signals under local meteorological conditions is being continuously observed.

Liu Chang, co-founder and vice-president of Galaxy Aerospace, said that this cooperation took the first step in overseas promotion and application of China's low orbit broadband satellite Internet technology, provided a platform for local enterprises and universities to study low orbit satellite communication systems, helped promote the development of Thailand's low orbit satellite interconnection technology capabilities and application scenarios, and would benefit Thailand's satellite manufacturing Upstream and downstream industries such as satellite network construction and operation play a leading role in helping high-quality development of the "Belt and Road" through high-tech.
It is reported that "Little Spider Web" is China's first low orbit broadband communication experimental constellation built by Galaxy Space, and has completed a number of satellite Internet application verification.
