According to the information of School of Information and Communication Engineering of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Zheng is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor of the school. At present, his main research directions are wireless communication and future network.
According to this 20 page PDF report document, the informants are 15 2022 and 2023 graduate students under the guidance of Mr. Zheng, including 12 2022 graduate students and 3 2023 graduate students.
According to the report document, Zheng "treats us like slaves. More and more things unrelated to scientific research occupy our time, accompanied by endless insults and abuse".
For example, for a long time, at 7 o'clock in the morning, many students were summoned to the canteen to buy steamed stuffed buns and eggs; In the past month, some students were summoned to buy a mobile phone for him; Before and after February 7, 2024, two students will be sent to investigate the direction, produce materials, write reports, and make daily reports for their daughter's innovation competition. The science and technology innovation project ended in failure, and Mr. Zheng also asked students to apologize for it.
According to the report document, the daily working hours of Zheng's laboratory are up to 10 and a half hours: 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m; 14pm to 17:30pm; 18:30-22:30 p.m. Students will be required to take photos on Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays to prove their work in the laboratory, and there will be irregular post checks. After February 29, 2024, students are required to work 11 and a half hours a day.
